Samsung U700 - Ultra Connectivity

Samsung U700 The Samsung U700 is a high end mobile phone from the Korean mobile manufacturing giant. The handset is a part of its latest Ultra Edition II, and the handset is called Ultra Edition 12.1 – which is named after the thickness of the device. Other models from the same series includes Samsung U100, Samsung U300 and the Samsung U600. The Samsung U700 is currently the top model for Ultra Edition II line up, with embedded 3.5G technology as well as a top of the line, 3.2 megapixel camera module. The handset is meticulously designed with hidden mirror effect to conceal its 2.2 inch large TFT based screen when the handset is in standby mode.

The handset sports a plain, clutter free front that makes a statement about its owner's class and style. Samsung is known for its glitch free sliders – the Samsung U700 which is fitted with a auto finish sliding mechanism is no exception. Sliding open the device reveals its tactile keypad. A secondary VGA camera finds its place above the display. The camera is incorporated to aid video calling across UMTS and other supported networks. The Samsung U700 is endowed with HSDPA technology that can achieve data speeds as high as up to 3.6 Mbps – many a times faster than even 3G.

Data intensive functions like video calling, multi-player game playing and video streaming works like a breeze. Finding desired information on the internet and quickly downloading them is a child's play with the Samsung U700. The handset's internal memory pool is about 50 Mb, further upgradeable by microSD memory cards. The handset's built in browser – NetFront 3.4 is compatible with WAP 2.0, xHTML and HTML pages, thus giving you an edge over many other mobile phone browser. In absence of 3G network, the Samsung U700 uses built in GPRS and EDGE technology to give you seamless data connectivity any time you want.
