Sony Ericsson has launched the much-awaited Sony Ericsson C510 Cybershot mobile phone with Smile Shutter technology in India. Sony Ericsson C510 is being offered in the country for a very attractive price of Rs. 12,195.Sony Ericsson C510 Cybershot mobile phone features a 3.2 megapixel camera and boasts of being the first mobile phone to have a Smile Shutter technology. Along with the technology, the camera function is also equipped with features like auto-rotation option for landscape and portrait view.
And it also has video recording capabilities with support for the YouTube application which uploads the videos and images directly on the web.
Sony Ericsson C510 also includes face detection for up to 3 faces, active lens, photo light and illuminated imaging shortcut keys and comes pre-loaded with features like the HP Snapfish program. Additionally it has the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and USB support amongst other features like the Bluetooth, media player and more.
Its battery supports standby time of 400 hours and a talk time of 10 hours.
Sony Ericsson has also announced the Smile Hunter Campaign which has already commenced from March 01 and will go on till October 31, 2009. It is an international competition which will be judged by renowned personalities and the best photo will be showcased on a global platform.
