Olive is one of the first Indian companies to push the pedal in the Tablet space in India. With current world-champion, the Apple iPad, and Samsung's pricey Galaxy Tab, the new Android-based OlivePad VT-100 3G tablet is worth-friendly Rs. 22,000 price.

Currently Olive is prepared to enter the arena of Android smartphones; an area additionally populated than tablets. There was some report that the company chairman Arun Khanna talking about a range of smart-phones based on Android 2.2 by the first week of March next year. While Android 2.2 (Froyo) may not be as bright as the newly stated Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), it is still better than an array of Mobile Phones which still run Android 2.1 (Eclair) as of now.

It is also stated that Olive is targeting high and wants to race with premium Android Smartphones like the very-victorious Samsung Galaxy S. Only a few models are able to carry what are considered to be high-end features (like a 1 GHz processor, an 800 x 480 pixel display, 720p video recording) below the Rs. 20,000 mark. Like a handful of them including the Samsung Wave II, Nokia C7 or the unreleased Huawei IDEOS X6 are able to pull it off for now.
