HTC Magic: India's First Android Mobile Launched by Airtel

Bharti Airtel collaborates with HTC to unveil India's first Android mobile phone, the HTC magic. Airtel is opening up new venues for developers and consumers. The launch has stimulated the development, innovation and use of diverse mobile applications in open ecosystems. Since Airtel is the pioneer in the Android-based HTC mobile phones, Airtel users are provided with improved communication. It boasts of excellent multimedia and mobile internet experiences.

The all new handset is equipped with features like outlook synchronization, smart dialler and onscreen keyboard embedded with predictive text. This makes the smartphone a total communication and entertainment powerhouse. Besides, the sleek design, tablet-style body and unique compactness is indeed outstanding. The HTC Magic has apps such as Hello Tune Manager, Portfolio manager, Weather Channel, In-mobile search, City Search and Mobshare.

The users are provided with an operating system, middleware and key mobile apps. The Google platform brings Internet-styled openness and innovation to handsets. The Android-based platform is capable of virtually eliminating the gap between the phone's core and 3rd party app. The specifications of the HTC magic are included with 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, trackball for trouble-free navigation and 3.2 mp camera.

The all new HTC Magic is priced at Rs. 29,900 /- through HTC authorized resellers and Airtel relationship centers across the 17 cities.
