Iconia B1- a budget tablet from Acer is now available at Infibeam

Acer Iconia B1 Acer Inc. one of the leading Taiwanese PC and laptop manufacturing companies have recently launched an Android based tablet. Acer Iconia B1 tab is a 7 inch long tablet built on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

This tablet said to have appeared for the first time in the recently held world’s largest consumer technology event CES-2013. Jim Wong, the president of Acer Inc, mentioned in the event that Iconia B1 tablet would be first introduced in Asia and South America. Shortly after this event, Acer has finally introduced the tablet yesterday in India and Singapore markets.

The all new Acer Iconia B1 weights 320 grams and has a 7 inch display screen with the resolution of 1,024 X 600 pixels. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core processor and has the internal storage memory of 8 GB and DDR3 512 MB. The memory can be expanded up to 32 GB on this tablet.

This low budget tablet also features a 0.3 mp front facing camera for video chats having the resolution of1600 x 1200 pixels and capturing 15 frames per second in full resolution. The tablet is set to have introduced in the market as a budget tablet against Nexus 7 and Amazon’s Kindle Fire.

This tablet is said to be the cheapest options available and the company is trying to make it available in less than US $99. This tablet is now easily available in Indian online shopping sites such as Infibeam at the cost under 10K.
