The Newly Released Blackberry Q5 Is Up For Sales At Infibeam

Research  In  Motion  Limited,  the  Canadian Telecommunication  company  best  known  for  its  flagship,  BlackBerry  Smartphones,  has recently launched its latest model BlackBerry Q5  in India.

The BlackBerry Q5 features a physical QWERTY keyboard as the Chief Marketing Officer for BlackBerry, Frank Boulben has said earlier during the release of Q10, "We're convinced there is a significant segment of the market who prefers to have a physical keyboard, We want to continue to serve that segment."

Sunil Lalvani, the Managing Director for India at BlackBerry said during the launch, "The BlackBerry Q5 smartphone offers the full BlackBerry 10 functionality as well as access to the growing catalog of BlackBerry 10 apps. With its physical QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen, it gives customers the best of both worlds."




Blackberry Q5 also flaunts a 3.1 inch big screen just like its high-end predecessor Q10 The display is crystal clear with a resolution of 720 x 720 resolution at 329 PPI and 24-bit color. A 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 MP camera in the front is fitted on this new offering from Blackberry.

Blackberry Q5 is the third phone by the company that is built on BlackBerry 10.1 OS and it is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor. The Smartphone is also decked up with a range of sensors such as Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Gyroscope, and Ambient light sensor.

The phone has a long lasting battery power of 2180 mAH non-removable battery. India has  seen a boom in the release of new Smartphone since the beginning of this year.
