Nokia has announced the Nokia N97 samrtphone and positioned it as a 'social phone' with the new concept of social location.

Nokia N97 has A-GPS with city guides embedded in it and an electronic compass that allows the mobile computer to locate. Updating social networks automatically with real-time information adds to the social phone features. Sharing social location and related pictures and video is now easy.

The other features include walk pedestrian navigation, a free voice-guided Drive Navigation for a period of three months, and a built-in compass.

Customizable Screen:
Customizing homepage with widgets and integrating Facebook widgets to RSS feeds is now possible adding to the social aspect.
