Samsung Pixon M8800: Price, Features, Specifications

Samsung M8800 Pixon is inspired from touchscreen and is hopeful of becoming a definitive camera phone. The handset has an inspired TouchWiz interface and large screen. The Samsung M8800 Pixon mobile is second to the Samsung INNOV8 in the Samsung portfolio but offers to compete with it in the imaging department.

Samsung Pixon M8800 mobile has standard looks with a large touchscreen in the front. The call and end buttons along with a rock back key are placed in a tiny panel along the bottom edge of the front part. There are similarities in appearances to other Samsung handsets like the Samsung Omnia i900 and Samsung ToccoF480.

The plastic casing of Samsung Pixon M8800 might not have an universal appeal though it keeps the phone's weight down to an acceptable 122g. The mobile phone is quite chunky and not the minimal sized one.

Samsung Pixon M8800 is a user friendly phone with a hold button on the left edge along with a switcher key. This will call up a grid of six shortcuts and four of the shortcuts take you to apps like messaging, the browser, the call screen as well as the music player. The other two shortcuts are a back button and the main menu shortcut.

The microSD card slot on this edge allows users to boost the 200MB of built-in storage. Samsung's multifunction port is situated on the top of the phone and is used to administer mains power, connect to a PC and connect headphones. The headset provided with the Samsung Pixon M8800 has a 3.5mm connector such that you can substitute your own headphones for the ones provided in-ear buds.

The Samsung Pixon M8800 is priced at Rs. 24,150 /- and although not a great looker, it is certainly a handy one. Equipped with all the important specifications and user friendly features, the Samsung Pixon M8800 is bound to enthrall users.
