Karbonn Mobiles expands product portfolio

Karbonn Mobiles, recently announced the launch of its latest range of devices comprising of 10 brand-new phones across various price-points.


The launch of this latest range is in line with Karbonn Mobiles’ commitment to usher in mobile phones in India that offer great value proposition and accelerate the company’s growth in the country, said a press release.

Pradeep Jain, managing director, Karbonn Mobiles, said “Karbonn Mobiles was launched in India in March 2009 with a view of offering unmatched quality and features at attractive price points for Indian mobile phone users. The response thus far has been truly overwhelming and the Karbonn brand has gone from strength to strength in the country.”

He added that they plan to get even more aggressive with fresh initiatives to ramp up their operations and aim to double their sales by the first quarter of the next year.

Karbonn Mobiles has introduced 10 new models for the Indian market, across various price-points to address different market segments. The new range from Karbonn consists of a variety of touch, QWERTY, multimedia and music phones and aim to attract the attention of the discerning Indian mobile phone users by delivering great value-for-money.

The Karbonn K1414 is a touchscreen phone while the Karbonn K25i is a Wi-Fi enabled, QWERTY phone that lets you connect to your social circle at ease.

The Karbonn K111, K11 and K514 are multimedia phones that seek to offer entertainment on-the-go, and the Karbonn K550i, K424, K343, K316, are music phones, especially designed for those who like to carry their music on their mobile device. The Karbonn K451i is a phone that offers a great battery backup. All the new phones from Karbonn Mobiles fall in the price range of Rs. 1500 – Rs. 5000.

He added that they have always believed in listening to consumers needs and ushering in devices to address those needs, and this range is an extension of the same. They are extremely upbeat about the Indian market and are planning to launch 3G smartphones on the Android platform shortly.
